CORONAVIRUS

Please note that all appointments for Sexual Health Clinics in Stirling will now be relocated to Falkirk Community Hospital from Monday 23/03/2020.  

Clinics will only operate from Falkirk Community Hospital and Clackmannanshire Community Health Care Centre until further notice.

Please attend your appointnent as arranged,  unless you are contacted with other instructions by a member of clinic staff.

Unfortunately due to Coronvirus we have limited appointments available.

Please call the triage line on 01324 673554, Mon-Fri, 0830-1230 and a member of staff will advise if an appointment is required.

Alternatively call the helpline on 01324 673563, Mon-Fri, 1400-1600.

Where possible, please attend clinic appointments on your own to reduce the risk of exposure to NHS staff.

Please use hand gels available when attending the clinic.

 The sexual health services online appointments booking system provides an easy way for you to find and book an appointment at Central Sexual Health.

You can book online for:

  • routine contraception i.e. contraceptive pill, depo-injection,
  • testing for sexually transmitted infections
  • return appointment for PREP or further vaccinations

Please DO NOT book online if have symptoms, call 01324 673554 and you will be seen as soon as possible.

Should you wish a procedure e.g.coil/implant inserted, changed or removed, please call to make an appointment.

It may not be possible to book all the services listed above if clinics are fully booked and you may have to call for an appointment. 

Call the appointment line :  01324 673554 between 8:30am and 12:30pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays)

To make an appointment at any of the clinics, call the booking/triage line: 01324 673554, Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 12:30.  Providing there are appointments available, you should be able to make an appointment for the current week or the following week.

Please note:   Emergency contraception is also available from community pharmacies.    STI testing and contraception can also be carried out by your GP.

Contraception and Sexual Health Clinics provide the following:

  • Contraception, including emergency contraception and condoms
  • Longer lasting contraception, i.e. implants and coils
  • Testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, including HIV
  • Safer sex advice, general advice and support for any sexually related problems or concerns

All clinics are by appointment only.

We aim to see patients requiring urgent care, within two working days.  Patients with non-urgent conditions may be asked to call back at an alternative time.

The Sorted on Sex service (for young people, 20 and under) continues to operate a drop in service.

The HIV service has not changed
