Book an appointment online

The Sexual Health Online Appointment Booking System, provides an easy way for you to find and book an appointment at Central Sexual Health.   Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we are not running this service at the moment.  Please keep an eye on our Website to see when services will return to normal.

When services  return to normal, you can book online for:

  • Routine contraception, ie. contraceptive pill, depo-injection
  • Testing for sexually transmitted infections
  • Return appointments for PREP or further vaccinations

Please DO NOT book online if you have symptoms, instead call 01324 673554 to speak to a member of the team who will arrange for you to be seen as soon as possible.

Should you wish a coil or implant insertion, change or removal, please call to make an appointment.

It will not be possible to book online for all the services listed above, if the online clinics are fully booked.  You will need to call for an appointment.

To make an appointment at any of the clinics, call the booking/triage line: 01324 673554, Monday to Friday, 0830 – 1230.  You should be able to make an appointment for the current or following week, should spaces be available.

 Please note:

  • Emergency contraception is also available from community pharmacies.
  • STI testing and contraception can also be carried out by your GP.

Contraception and Sexual Health Clinics provide the following:

  • Contraception, including emergency contraception and condoms
  • Longer lasting contraception, ie. implants and coils
  • Testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, including HIV
  • Safer sex advice, general advice and support for any sexually related problems or concerns

All clinics are by appointment only, although there are drop in clinics (Sorted on Sex service) for patients who are 20 and under - these are not running at the moment.

We aim to see patients requiring urgent care, within two working days.  Patients with non-urgent conditions may be asked to call back at an alternative time.

The HIV service has not changed
