Welcome to West of Scotland Sexual Health MCN

The West of Scotland Sexual Health Managed Clinical Network was launched on 31st March 2009. Sexual Health services in five NHS Boards have agreed to co-operate in planning and delivery, with the aim of achieving continuous service improvement.

The member Boards are NHS Ayrshire & Arran, NHS Dumfries & Galloway, NHS Forth Valley, NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde and NHS Lanarkshire, which collectively cover a population of around 2.6 million people, just over 50% of the Scottish total.

The West of Scotland Sexual Health MCN will assist the member boards with the ongoing improvement of quality and accessibility of sexual health services. The Boards have agreed to co-operate in the planning and delivery of care and also the promotion of good sexual health.
